Porcelain Veneers

Imagine a whiter, more brilliant smile! Porcelain veneers are conservative cosmetic dentistry that makes a dramatic difference in the appearance of your teeth. If you have chipped teeth, crooked teeth, spaces between your teeth or dull or stained teeth, veneers may be the perfect solution for you. After minimal tooth preparation, Dr. Klein will skillfully bond and shape thin films of porcelain to your teeth, creating a straight, brilliant smile that enhances your appearance and your self-esteem. You are only a couple of appointments away from having the smile you have always wanted!

Invisalign™

The days of unsightly metal braces with uncomfortable brackets and wires are long passed. Now, you can discreetly and gently straighten crooked teeth with Invisalign™, an FDA-approved tooth straightening system that uses clear, removable aligners to gradually shift the position of each tooth. The Invisalign™ process starts by using 3D computer imaging to map your treatment plan, allowing you to see what your teeth will look like after completing treatment. Using the imaging, Dr. Klein then creates a series of custom-molded aligners to fit over your existing teeth. You’ll progress to wearing the next set in the series every two weeks, gently bringing crooked teeth into alignment over time. Average treatment times range from 9 to 15 months, but the best part is that most people will never notice a thing! Learn more about Invisalign

Porcelain Bridges

Missing or damaged teeth not only create discomfort, but also can lead to additional damage over time. The need to chew or speak differently, or to otherwise compensate for the missing or injured tooth, reassigns dental pressure to sensitive areas. To avoid painful complications related to a missing or damaged tooth, Dr. Klein may recommend a bridge. A dental bridge is essentially a set of prosthetic teeth that anchors over the top of other healthy teeth on either side of the missing tooth. The result is restored functionality and comfort. Additionally, because bridges can now be milled out of porcelain, they’re more natural looking than their earlier counterparts made of precious metals. Unlike dental implants, bridges do not require oral surgery but will typically need replacing every 10 to 15 years.

Porcelain Crowns

Your teeth undergo a tremendous amount of stress during your lifetime. Teeth may show this wear in a variety of ways, including discoloration, chipping, and cracking. Crowns restore your teeth and smile to look brilliant once again. Porcelain crowns can be made out of porcelain fused to metal or all porcelain and can be shaded to match your teeth. Crowns made of precious metal (gold) are also an option. After some tooth preparation, crowns are specifically fitted to restore functionality and enhance the appearance of your smile. If you have pain when chewing or temperature sensitivity, ask Dr. Klein if crowns are right for you.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Whenever decayed tissue is removed from a tooth (such as in the case of a cavity) the remaining space requires a filling to maintain the proper structure. For many years, fillings were silver-colored and, while perfectly safe and effective, they were very noticeable. With advancements in dentistry, you can now enjoy discreet, tooth-colored fillings instead of traditional silver fillings. You may even elect to remove your old silver fillings in favor of new, undetectable tooth-colored fillings.

Bonding

Bonding is a tooth-colored material applied and adhered to the surface of the tooth without reducing the structure of the tooth in most cases. Then, Dr. Klein will sculpt the material to create a natural-looking tooth. Bonding corrects chipped and broken teeth, discolored teeth and in some cases can correct gaps. It is less expensive than veneers but doesn’t last as long and can stain. A benefit of bonding is that generally, the natural structure of the tooth can be maintained.
